Is there any evidence that Viviscal Man really helps thinning hair?

There is a study available online: 
A Double-blind, Placebo-controlled Study Evaluating the Efficacy of an Oral Supplement in Women with Self-perceived Thinning HairHowever, I would make a point that the study was funded by Lifes2Good which appears to either own Viviscal or is in partnership with them.  So, when I see this the study loses some credibility, but you can read the study and determine how you feel about it.  You could also present the study to your local provider to see how they feel.   Personally, I do not think this product has much efficacy. 

If there was compelling evidence that it helped with hair growth, it would probably be much more commonly used and prescribed. Really only Minoxidil and Finasteride have significant research that back them up to prove they aid in preventing hair loss and/or promoting hair growth.

I would seek consultation with a physician who is expert in hair loss. Also the only FDA approved products are certain lasers, Rogaine and finasteride. Best of luck.
