Why only prednisone make my skin look normal?

Question

My skin is constantly with a flushing/blushing look, it gets white when I press it but it returns after a few seconds. I also have severe Keratosis Pilaris in my lower arms, upper arms and chest. I've done all allergy tests and the only positive results were mold and dust mites, I've tried everything, anti histamines, gluten and lactose free diet but it doesn't matter what I do or where I am my skin is always like this, only prednisone makes my skin looks normal (white and clear). Any help?

The flushing/blushing on your face might be an indicator that you are suffering from Rosacea. Without pictures is difficult to make that assessment. Consider a consultation with your dermatologist/facial/plastic surgeon. A series of treatments with the Lumenis IPL has been effective in my hands to improve Rosacea.Hope this helps,Dr. Gus Diaz

It sounds like you have Rosacea. This can be treated very effectively with 5-7 BBL treatments. You won't need to use steroids.Look for someone in your area that offers Scitons BBL I believe it is the very best for Rosacea.
