Had a brain tumor removed 10 years ago, is it safe to have Brazilian Butt Lift procedure?

Hi, thank you for sharing your question. If your oncologist is able to clear you for surgery and your tumor surveillance has been negative, there is no reason why you should not be able to undergo cosmetic surgery.

With any elective surgery, your surgeon would require you to have preoperative labs and medical clearances to decide if you are a good surgical candidate. I would recommend finding a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options.

Having been granted medical clearance, you are eligible to have a Brazilian butt lift. As long as you’re not having any medical conditions that need to be addressed you should be fine for having elective cosmetic surgery. Your plastic surgeon may or may not request clearance from your neurosurgeon or neurologist.

My question would be if you still have seizures which would be something I would address before having surgery. If not it sounds like you’re probably OK to go but you simply need to list your medical condition on the intake during consultations and discuss this during the consult.
