I just want to know if chemicals peels are a blanket no-no for diabetic skin or if it is individual based on skin and control. I do not want to fraxel/ ipl do any laser to my skin other than hair removal (which I have recently stopped ). I am in control of the disease, however was recently told that my diabetes may prevent me from receiving the peel? True, my skin heals a bit slower, but am I absolutely disqualified from chemical peels?
