Unclear hair loss type- female pattern vs traction. The dermatologist is unsure right now. Have another appt coming up. Thinking hair transplant will be the ultimate treatment. I haven't chemically straightened my hair in 15 years. I have braided my hair int he same amount of time. cornrow myself and low tension. I do wear wigs but use a cap and band between my scalp and the wig

Hello; to begin with, you have been braiding your hair for many years; this may be the reason; for opening in the anterior field. Hair follicles over here; have not disappeared; but, they fell asleep. Therefore, even without hair transplantation, very successful results can be obtained with; effective mesotherapies and methods; containing for growth factors such as Exosome. During this period, you should leave your hair open and not use for harmful, chemical products. If you decide for having a hair transplant; an average number of grafts of 1000 roots; will be more than sufficient. Natural appearance is so significant. The factor, that makes a difference in this regard is; the planting process should be done by a professional team.

Hello and thank you for your question.  I think a FUE hair transplant would be a good option for you.  With out seeing you in person its tough to say exactly how many grafts you but I would  guess around 2000.  Best of luck to you.

FUE hair transplant can be an option for forehead reduction,  correcting  receding hair line and asymmetry on your frontal hair line/forelock. I advice you have a FUE with 1800-2000 grafts; you would achieve the desired hairline in just one session of dense packing hair transplant.
