I understand that Sculptra reaches its maximum volume 6 months after treatment. At that point, does it stabilize and then slowly start to decrease or just start to decrease? Is the 'Sculptra lasts 2 years' estimation from the 6 month point, so that you're looking at a total of 2.5 years of volume? I read somewhere that the volume at the year mark is approximately 50% of what it was at the 6 month mark; is this correct?

The reason that you are not seeing any response from the sculptra is because Sculptra is a biostimulatory agent, rather than a true filler. The response is delayed and requires multiple sessions to be significant. However, cupping, which applies suction to the skin, may not be a good idea....
Dear MissMJ:Massage, Massage, Massage! If you feel a nodule, return to your injector to evaluate it. Nodularity develops because there is too much stimulation of collagen formation in one spot. For this reason, consistent and compliant massage is recommended.Good luck!
Our office specializes in Sculptra injections and we continue to see excellent results in the cheeks and mid face with Sculptra use. Good luck and continue to massage the soft tissue after injections. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
