Having vitiligo does increase your risk of developing vitiligo in areas treated for cosmetic purposes.  Having said that, we do often treat patients with auto-immune and inflammatory skin conditions with devices.  My advice is to have test patches done first, to reduce your chances of larger level koebenerization, and to also pre and post -treat with medications.  Seek advice and treatment from an expert in the field.  Best wishes, Shobhan.
