How can I fix hole on my face caused by apple cider vinegar burn? (Photos)

Question

I had a mole on my face which I really hated and read online that apple cider vinegar could be applied to remove it. Stupidly I did this and what I've been left with is so, so much worse than before and I now have a large unsightly hole on my face but with raised edges, it hasn't improved in 18 months. Please can someone recommend a treatment to fix this urgently as I'm now more self-conscious than ever and it's really getting me down!

It is possible the depressed scar that you have on your face could be improved with a dermal filler.  Another possible option would be excision of the scar.  It would be helpful to examine the scar to determine which treatment might be best.

Appears to be a significant chemical burn and now a permanent depressed scar -- that may be very challenging to treat. I suggest seeing a Dermatologist that specializes in burn care/scars. I am uncertain if filler will improve that scar. 
Its unlikely many others will comment on your post.

Thank you for your question and photographs.It's difficult to evaluate your skin through this type of forum, but from what I can see, it looks like you have atrophic scarring (indentation). Any treatment modality that causes injury to the skin leading to subsequent collagen formation is effective. Such treatment options include fractionated laser, dermaroller, resurfacing lasers, deep peels, etc. Fillers are also a good option, specifically Bellafill®, a permanent filler. Bellafil®. I highly recommend you consult with a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon to have your skin evaluated and to discuss appropriate treatment options. Take care and good luck.
