PRP injection for laser/thermal damage?

I have had numerous Excel V treatments in the same spot for broken capillaries. Unfortunately, the last treatment 3 months ago left me with an area that feels like scar tissue (and associated swelling) and is not healing. Would PRP injections help? Could we instead just puncture the skin with needles and apply the PRP on top? I'm afraid of additional swelling so trying to be prudent with my approach.

I find that PRP works really well for treating and preventing scars especially if the scar is relatively fresh. Although micro needling the PRP into the scar is a reasonable alternative, I find that injecting into the scar and the tissue around and underneath it is much more effective. If you use a fine (30 gauge) needle, you are not going to risk creating additional scarring.

you likely did and will get permanent hyperpigmentation and/or scarring if you do not start red light therapy, stem cell topical therapy, faith essence serum and is clinical hydracool, and sun protection right now. 2-3 weeks from now you need to do an enlighten, Cosmelan, or aerify peel.

Burns need a combination of:
1) healing lasers and light such as aerolase or laser genesis and LED therapy with light stim
2) topical growth factors, stem cells, antioxidants
3) oxygen facials
4) platelet rich plasma and A cell topically
5) sun protection
6) vascular lasers for redness such as venus versa IPL, excel V KTP, and pulsed dye laser/VBeam
After 6-12 weeks you can treat for hyperpigmentation with cosmelan peels, hydroquinone, retinol or non ablative lasers like clear and brilliant or radiofrequency like venus viva.

PRP is an excellent way to treat your scar by injection and/or topically with microneedling.  Be patient because it may require a few monthly treatments and a tincture of time to allow healing.
