Can microneedling cause future issues with producing collagen because of the damage it is doing at the cellular level?

I've read that breaking down collagen from microneedling not only depletes the ability to make collagen again sooner in the future but also desensitizes the receptors that signal for collagen to be produced. It's clear microneedling has immediate benefits (over first year or two), but in what I read microneedling also creates scars allowing less room for future collagen/elastin and the bad effects from injuring your skin are seen years and years later with thin sagging skin.
