Yes, we recommend all of our Microneedling patients wear sunscreen after their procedure.  Be sure to wear a zinc and titanium based sunscreen.  Best of luck to you!

Thank you for your question. Yes, we have all of our patients wear post-procedure specific sunscreen after the microneedling treatment. Brands such as Elta MD carry post-procedure specific sunscreens that you can purchase. Hope this helps!

Yes. Make sure it is a mineral based product with high SPF. Zinc and titanium based are best. Chemical based products can lead to irritation, impair optimal outcome and occasionally, minor complications.

I asked patients to start using a physical sunscreen the morning after microneedling. Right after the procedure, it is best just to avoid the sun completely and let the micro-channels close up.
