The power assisted liposuction device, when used properly, is an excellent tool to help achieve maximum results. Like other types of liposuction, there will be a lot of initial swelling. Thank you for your question. How quickly you can see your results depends on where you started and how much you had done. In general, there is significant swelling for a few weeks. After that the results should start becoming apparent. Final results can take months to appreciate. Good luck.
nickswano,Except for areas of minimal proposed change, there is usually significant improvement apparent by 2 weeks post-op when much of swelling is resolved after liposuction. However it generally takes 12-15 weeks to see the final outcome from liposuction as internal scar compaction occurs, further compressing the outcome result in treated areas. I hope that this helps.
You definitely still have some swelling left at 7 weeks, however since your contour is so nice and smooth I would guess it is some residual fat. But the best course of action is to communicate with your surgeon.Good Luck.
