I was looking into air-sculpting or power assisted Lipo where you are not under general anesthesia they use local. The idea sounds nice but what's the truth. The bruising and swelling makes me nervous. I was thinking maybe doing my arms or just lower abdomen I saw people do it for their double chin. I did read an article on someone dying from lidocaine toxicity from the procedure. Ugh any insight ?
I have seen plenty of women get liposuction and have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree burns, is it true they are caused by the compression garment or is this the surgeons technique? Whoever answers this question, is it normal to have burns from PAL or tumescent lipo, in your experience? Is this under the signed consent?
I have PAL scheduled in a month but I didn't ask the doctor about potential organ injury. My initial assumption was that it takes less force to do the lipo, it is very unlikely to perforate the abdominal wall with such weak force. What is the actual truth?
Hello! I had lipo to my flanks and lateral thighs. Not much change to either area post op. I read through surgical center report and would like 2nd opinion. If i requested saddle bag lipo, is that the same as lateral? Saddle bags are not directly side of thigh. Second, in my report, the same exact amt of tumescence was introduced as was obtained of lipoaspirate. To me, that sounds like nothing addtl was removed. Is that correct?
Hello I have a large pocket of silicone injected in both sides of my arms; it's not a deep area with a ton of muscle like my butt-it is directly on the bone. How effective would power assisted Liposuction be to remove it? What about vaser Liposuction? I'm worried about the cannula clogging, what should I do?
I'm a male 5'9 170lbs in good shape(workout 5-6 per week). I decided to have lipo done on the abdomen and flanks a year ago. I had a traditioinal PAL lipo. After a few months we realized that one side of my abdomen had more fat left than the other so I opted to go back in after a year and have it resolved. This time the doctor used UAL because he said the area was very very fiborous. I had the second lipo last thursday(7/28) under general again. He said it was really tough in there but he got 200cc of fat removed. Is that a a significant amount of fat for a touch up procedure? It does also seem more balanced this time around. I didn't have as much oozing out of the incisions as I did the first time.
