An upper lip lift is a technique which involves a minimal incision at the base of the nose to shorten the lip distance from the nostril margin to the free edge of the upper lip. The best candidates are those with a long upper lip length and/or thin upper lip. The procedure does a very nice job of not only shortening this length but also everting the upper lip to give it more projection and fullness. And greater visibility of the front teeth. Often this procedure will be a long term solution that replaces lip fillers, lip flips and other treatments designed to contribute to a fuller lip.
