I know this friend of mine. He is physically disabled, history of depression n suicide He looks at himself in the mirror n he sees a boy, he doesn't feel like a man, etc for quite a while now . He has made his mine set on getting a beard transplant. So my question is, due to to his history and diagnosis of depression, will neighborhood health plan consider this procedure as medical necessary surgery/procedure? Or is it still considered cosmetic and thereby won't be covered ?
