Yes, you may have CoolSculpt done around incision scars. Though you may have to invest in more areas due to the configurations of the applicator. I recommend consulting with a CoolSculpt Consultant who can best plan out your CoolSculpt journey. Best, Dr. Anil Shah
Dear CheerMom !Thank you for your question. Yes it is fine to have CoolSculpting 2 months after your surgery as long as the incision area is avoided............. That sounds simple but there is more to it. It is easy to avoid an incision area but the planning and configuration of your treatment applicators needs to be carefully thought out so that you will have aesthetically pleasing contours after your treatment, whilst avoiding the incision area. Also it would be helpful to have the knowledge of a surgeon along with that of a technician, since surgeons know what happens under the tissue with surgery and what further areas to potentially avoid. It would be best if you could have a consultation with both a surgeon and a technician to examine your belly and together come up with a safe treatment plan that is best for you and give you good results (also determining configuration and placement of applicators and their cost).... and BTW, CoolSculpt truly works wonders !Best Wishes in your quest ! Sincerely, Dr. Anna PetropoulosBoston's North Shore
I would not see a problem having a CoolSculpting treatment done 2 months after surgery to remove the gall bladder, as long as the area of the surgical incision is not affected. An examination of you would be needed to determine if you might be a good candidate for the treatment or not.
Yes, you should be fine to receive a CoolSculpting treatment two months after gallbladder removal. Your provider will need to take your incision area into consideration when planning the placement of the applicator. The applicator should be placed in a way to not put strain on your scar. In order to make sure your treatment is appropriate and will produce your ideal results, share your health history and concerns with your provider.CoolSculpting is a safe, cutting-edge treatment; however, not all providers are created equal. We recommend that all individuals seeking CoolSculpting take time to find a provider that they feel 100% confident in. An experienced CoolSculpting provider will put your health first. You can definitely have Coolsculpting while taking statins or other medication for high cholesterol. Coolsculpting won't effect your cholesterol or the effects of medication nor will the medication effect your treatment outcome. Best of luck.
