Will this eventually go away? What is the normal time frame for this never before yet horrible body odor to go away after the last laser treatment? Please tell me that this isn't something I'll have to deal with for life.

The question that you asked is it would affect the treatment of hair growth. It shouldn't, exfoliating is for the skin and does not go deep into the skin where hair follicles are located in the skin. Exfoliating right after laser hair removal can make the area more sensitive and red.
