I had my first laser hair removal treatment on the back of my neck just over a week ago. Most of the hairs have since fallen out and the skin is fairly smooth. My skin is pale and the hair is coarse and dark. Thank you for your responses!

You need to wait for the irritation to resolve so you can shave and then have the treatment. No laser should be performed around any sores or open wounds for safety reasons. Wait 1-2 weeks for everything to resolve.
