The number of sessions that it will take to get rid of your hair with a laser hair removal machine depends on how dense/thick your hair is in the area you are treating and what laser/wavelength you are treating with. Most patients require 5-6 sessions for medium density hair in an area using a diode laser. If you have fine hair in the area you may require more or less treatments. The same is true for very dense hair may require 7-8 sessions. Prices vary depending on the laser being used, region, and whether a physician, nurse or other will be treating you.
Thank you for your question. Because the laser only disables follicles that are in their active growth cycle, you will need several treatments spaced about 1 month apart. Most people see the best results after getting 6 to 9 treatments, depending on your skin tone and hair color. Visit a professional medical spa for the best treatments.
The number of sessions needed are all dependent on what kind of laser you are being treated with and how dense your hair is in the areas being treated. At our office we start with a package of 6 and then reassess. The price of the this type of procedure will vary from office to office.
Thank you for your question in regards to laser hair removal. Typically a series of six treatments is recommended, although every patient will vary with the number of treatments needed to achieve desired results. Touch-up treatments will be required for maintenance as well. Pricing will vary from area to area. To be sure what is best for you, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. I hope this helps.
We recommend six treatments to effectively treat an area with our laser. You should return every 4-6 weeks depending on the area to treat the new active growth. We also provide a "touch up" guarantee if any difficult hair remains.
Hello, thank you for your question. Laser hair reduction is a series of treatments, usually 6-8 treatments done between 4-8 weeks apart, depending on the area being treated. The face, underarms and bikini have a more rapid growth cycle than other areas of the body like the arms, legs, chest and back. These areas are done once every 8 weeks. It can actually take almost a year to go through all the sessions. Each time you have a treatment the follicles will be reduced. Laser hair reduction is not 100% forever and ever. It is a significant reduction usually 80-90%. You may need to do occasional touch-ups during the year. Pricing will vary from market to market. I would recommend that you seek a board certified dermatologist to assure proper equipment and settings.Good Luck!
laser hair removal can be done by many many techniques these days. I have the ICON by Palomar and have found that it takes about 4-6 treatments to obtain excellent results but it is always dependant on the equipment used, hair type, patient compliance, patient tolerance to the settings on the system as they are individually adjust for each person and each part of the body
you have great questions so please make sure they are answered when you go in for your consultation. Laser hair removal is performed at least 3 times over the same area 4-6 weeks apart. How many sessions are needed depends on many factors such as: hair color, hair thickness (thicker and darker hair needs fewer sessions), some areas, like bikini needs more sessions. Skin color, ethnicity, hormonal status can effect the number of treatments necessary.Good luck
Thank you for your question in regards to laser hair removal. It is difficult to predict if all the hair will eventually come back, but with only one treatment the likely hood of hair regrow is favorable. To be sure what is best for you, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for...
If you have had 5 laser hair treatments to your back properly spaced by 2-3 months apart, you should be seeing a decrease in thickness of individual hairs and decrease in overall density. If you wax now, you may miss a percentage of "stunned" follicle if...
You need to wait for the irritation to resolve so you can shave and then have the treatment. No laser should be performed around any sores or open wounds for safety reasons. Wait 1-2 weeks for everything to resolve.
