Is it bad if I bent down a handful of times about an hour after Botox?

Botox does its job. You can bend down, take a nap, do whatever you want and it will be just fine. The only thing I advise patients to not do after Botox is get a massage where your face goes into one of those face down pillows. Hope that helps!

Massaging the areas that were injected, lying down flat within 3 hours of treatment, and vigorous exercise are discouraged because some feel they cause the Botox to diffuse. Bending over a few times wouldn't affect the result.

Bending over after Botox treatment should be fine, you should follow up with your injector 2 weeks after your initial injection Kenneth Hughes M.D 

Botox injectors for years have recommended not to bend over or lie down after injections.  Much of this is likely not a real risk.  The concern is that the botox could diffuse to some other muscle due to this which is highly unlikely.  A bigger concern would be excessive rubbing or tight fitting clothing that could pressure directly on the area injected.

Thanks for your query.Lying down after Botox for 5-6 hours is contraindicated but there is no problem with bending so you don’t have to worry about it. Just avoid any parlor activities for the next 15 days and steam,  sauna,  spa and vigorous exercises for the next 5 days.All the best

Most physicians use a TB needle for their Botox injections.  The size of these needles is so small that increased pressure to the area (bending over) will do very little to increase the risk of bruising.  But generally speaking, try to keep your blood pressure down for the first 24 hours after Botox and you will have less bruising.

No I would not worry about bending over once or twice 1 hour after Botox. I usually ask that my patients not lay flat for an extended period of time up to 3 hours after the injection. That is essentially the only restriction.

No need to worry about bending over a few times after your Botox injections.  I advise patients not to rub or massage the treated area for a few hours, but otherwise, there is no problem.
