I am 23 years old and had an umbilical hernia removed when I was a child but was left with a protruding outtie belly button. I am interested in undergoing an umbiliocplasty surgery to correct my outtie and make it an innie belly button. Should I go to a general surgeon or plastic surgeon? And are plastic surgeons able to perform this procedure solo without a tummy tuck or other procedures?
