Can lidocaine without epinephrine be used for a lip lift?

I want to proceed with having a surgical lip lift with local anesthesia, however I have a history of dysautonomia and I am concerned that I may have a bad reaction to the epinephrine in the lidocaine. My surgeon says he cannot use lidocaine without epinephrine. Is this true? I know epinephrine helps reduce bleeding, but if it is possible to be done without epi, I might look for another surgeon.
