Dear Girlk36,I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Hello Girlk36,After examining your photos, it appears that you have fat accumulation both below and above your tummy tuck scar. Fortunately, both of these areas can be effectively addressed with liposuction.Liposuction is a minimally invasive procedure that can target stubborn pockets of fat, helping to contour and reshape the body. By removing excess fat from the hip area, liposuction can improve the appearance of bulging and create a smoother contour along the lower abdomen and hips. It's great to hear that you are scheduled for a tummy tuck scar revision on the lower abdomen as well. Combining this with liposuction can enhance the overall results and achieve a more harmonious aesthetic. Before proceeding with any surgical intervention, I recommend discussing your options with your plastic surgeon. They will evaluate your specific concerns and goals to create a personalized treatment plan that best suits your needs.Sincerely,Dr. Katzen
I would liposuction this! Contours like this after a larger surgery are always possible so liposuction should be able to even out the final outcome and even add some definition to your torso. Best Wishes!!
Hello; with tummy tuck scar; distance between the belly button; it was planned too shortly. Therefore, unfortunately, it is not possible to fix this; at revision session. Relevant with excess hips; it can be corrected with liposuction treatment.
An examination is needed to be certain, but liposuction should probably work well to remove the excess fat in that area.
An in person evaluation is needed for the best recommendation. If the bulge is created only underneath the scar then a scar revision should improve the concern. If there is excess subcutaneous fatty tissue, then liposuction can be used to further contour your results.
The bulge below your scar is caused by a combination of a lack of volume at the level of the scar and an excess volume beneath it. To treat it we should address both problems: start by reducing the bulge with liposuction and if necessary filling the lack of volume with a fat graft. An in person consultation would be necessary to properly analyze the tissues and together decide the best plan for you.

Hello Classy Sassy Assy. Thank you for your question regarding the persistence of a skin fold after your tummy tuck. Thank you for your history and your pictures. Since the skin fold has been present for six months following your tummy tuck, it is possible that this could be permanent. However,...
Dear CallMeMeem, based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more...
