To make the lower third portion of your face appear bigger, you would likely benefit from dermal filler injections to add volume to the chin and along the jawline. Adding volume can create a striking jawline contour that appears full and well-defined, with results lasting up to a year or more.

This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry you need maxillofacial surgery or implants customized. I suggest seeing an expert to go through all options. The use of a volumizing HA filler, such as Voluma XC, has been used for years already to achieve lower face and jawline augmentation to create the more masculine, squarer lower face. Both the lower face and jawline filler treatments, in experienced hands, should take no more than about twenty mintues to perform with typically immediate results. But you must make sure to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist in order to be sure that the appropriate filler and technique are used to create a masculine lower face and jawline appropriate to your face, rather than the more cookbook style approach so often used and more appropriate for working on the feminine lower face.
