I get this question a lot.  you can get pregnant immediately after liposuction.  if the liposuction procedure is performed properly, there is no reason why you could not conceive, as the baby is in a completely different area.  you do not want to be pregnant prior as there is risk to the baby with anesthesia.  best, Dr. Emer.

Way to go with getting back into shape! I suggest you wait on your liposuction. If you are planning on pregnancy,  your body will change in many ways. Have your children and then consider your cosmetic improvements. Be well and good luck.

The baby grows very slow so even if you got pregnant immediately after surgery, you would not see any significant changes that would impact your surgery. But if you wanted to wait, 4-6 weeks is more than reasonable. 

Hi and thanks for your question. Basically you could get pregnant after healing finishes (12 months). If you are thinking on getting pregnant soon maybe you should  wait for an abdominoplasty and breast lift, unless it is not  a short time plan.
