As a RN of 50 years, I have seen a lot of medical practices and providers. I have NEVER experienced a more professional, compassionate and caring environment. I was completely prepared both pre-op and post-op, and never made to feel rushed. Just before my surgery, I experience a personal loss. The compassion of his staff was indescribable. If surgery can be a pleasant experience, you will surely find that here!!!
AMAZING!! I can’t express how thankful I am for Dr. Cooper and his staff. I am over the top happy with my results. I never thought it was possible with my unique situation to have such amazing results!! From Dr. Cooper being one of the nicest, thorough knowledgeable, and talented surgeons in the field, to everyone in his office being caring, positive and amazing which made me feel so comfortable while I was there! Not only did I have a great consultation at my first office visit, with my fantastic results I enjoy my follow visits. It is so comforting knowing how Dr. Cooper and his team are so compassionate about their patients. I couldn’t have been happier, my results are better than I could have ever imagined especially so soon after surgery. I wouldn’t have been able to be this confident without Dr Cooper! Thank you so much for this life changing moment for me!
I want to congratulate you on a surgery well done. When I met you a few weeks ago, I knew that you were the surgeon performing my surgery. After mentioning what my expectations were you immediately explained the surgery in details and we could see that in your mind you were measuring and planning how to perform the procedure and at the same time meet my expectations but using your experience to make it esthetically pleasing. So far, and only because the surgery was yesterday, everything has been very positive and pleasing especially the results. Your assistant Emily, is very outgoing and well informed to answer any questions, Meg and Dana were very professional in prepping me prior to and after the surgery, and showing a high level of understanding and acceptance, Arlene was very informative about the Anesthesia process and keeping me relax prior to the surgery, the rest of your staff was helpful in any way they could. Well, I have run out of words of praise.
I had an incredible experience with Doctor Cooper and his wonderful staff! I had a breast lift and the work is IMPECCABLE, perfect. The nurses in the office are friendly ,compassionate & professional! I have also had other services including botox & facials; every experience has been exceptional. They connected me to an awesome skin care line. I look and feel my best Thanks Doctor Jason Cooper and staff! 5 Star rating
Jason Cooper is a very empathetic and understanding Plastic Surgeon. I have had other experiences with procedures so I knew what to expect. Dr. Cooper explained everything in detail and didn't push me to do treatments that he thought were unnecessary. The staff was friendly, qualified and made a sometimes awkward experience comfortable. I am extremely happy with the results and would definitely recommend their services without hesitation. Updated on 29 Jan 2019: Dr Jason Cooper forwarded the before image and the after image. The before picture was taken late November 2018 and the after picture was January 28 2019. I couldn't be happier with the results. I had upper and lower Blethoplasty surgery and am fully recovered.
Right from my initial call to set up a consultation, I knew Dr. Cooper’s practice was different then the others. My entire consultation lasted over an hour and never once did I feel rushed or not heard. We spoke in length about what I wanted and each and every question was thoroughly answered. I felt like we were making a game plan together. Surgery day came and to say I was nervous is an understatement. But every single person on Dr. Cooper’s team made me feel at ease. My breast augmentation turned out even better then I had set my hopes on. I am thrilled! Dr. Cooper is a perfectionist, and treats each person as an individual case. Other doctors I consulted with felt like a factory - one size fits all, rushed and uninformative. This is NOT Dr. Cooper. If you are looking for a truly individualize, wonderful surgery experience with incredible results, Dr. Cooper is for you.
Dr Cooper and his staff were all personable and professional. The thing that impressed me the most on our first consultation was that he was on time. This was my third consult and I had waited over 30 min for my appointment at other offices. I had over muscle implants done through my arm pit 6 years ago when I lived in Germany. I had felt a bubble on one side and had it checked out by my gynecologist. After inconclusive ultrasound and 3D mammogram I had a mri to establish a rupture. Dr Cooper was unsure he would find a rupture as the implants were so new, and I am in good health and shape. He did not want to go through my armpit since if it was ruptured it would be hard to get the leakage out that way. I felt comfortable with him right away. I liked his personality as he made me feel confident in him and made me feel at ease. I scheduled my appointment with him that day. Dr Cooper picked an implant that matches the other implant that did not need to be removed. It has healed wonderfully and you would never know that they are different. He is a perfectionist, which is what you want In a PS. Do not hesitate to see Dr Cooper and his staff.
I am a single working mother and am a nurse myself who has met with and worked in several hospitals with a myriad of Physicians for over 20+ years, and have taken care of any number of complicated post-operative patients over the years. During that time, I have also have cared for patients who were admitted in-patient after having undergone facial, breast, reconstructive and abdominal Cosmetic Surgery procedures, and have personally seen a range of outcomes. So, over the years, I have a working knowledge base of what great cosmetic surgery can look like. In 2000, I was 288 pounds and for my height was 110 pounds overweight, but was also severely hypertensive at that weight at age 28. Due to my blood pressure and because I was over the 100-pound threshold for being obese, I underwent Gastric Bypass and within 6 months, lost 120 pounds, and had a normal blood pressure without medication, which continues today. Surprisingly, my skin held up and at a size 40D naturally, I did not suffer with flaccid or drooping breasts, and did not have loose, hanging abdominal skin or thighs. I maintained that body condition and my weight successfully for about 15 years (even after a pregnancy) and my weight ranged anywhere from 160-175 pounds over that time. Around 2015, I noticed higher fluctuations in my weight (180’s-190’s) but most disappointing was that the integrity of my skin changed considerably with my age and weight gain and I developed severely sagging breasts, and all my weight gain seemed to now pocket around my waist, abdomen and upper back. By October of 2016, I had been very unhappy about my appearance for a while, and Dr. Jason Cooper was mentioned to me and came highly recommended by a friend and Physician whose opinion I trust and have valued for over 15 years. I first called Dr. Cooper’s office and spoke with the receptionist Tricia, who was welcoming and so friendly and professional, and subsequently I also spoke with Jennifer, the Surgical Coordinator. What an asset Jennifer is to the group. She is a bubbly ray of sunshine and genuinely kind and that was apparent even from our first brief phone conversation. Spurred on by the warmth of the group on the phone, I schedule and appointment and went in for a consult with Dr. Cooper in November of 2016. I went in with the normal anxiety and trepidation that comes with being a single parent that was considering any surgical procedure and consequent anesthesia. My desire going in was to discuss the possibility of a breast reduction with possible smaller implants for lift and shape (I was a sagging 40DDD by then), a tummy tuck and liposuction to my upper back. My hope was to accomplish these procedures in 1 surgery. Doctor Cooper’s staff professionally took photos of my body and made what could have been terribly embarrassing for me, much more comfortable. Again, I encountered nothing but genuine friendliness and professionalism from everyone that I encountered. I was met with kindness and care by Mrs. Emily Cooper who made it clear that she was there to support me through whatever decision I felt would be right for me, my situation and finances. I was finally able to meet Jennifer who was just as warm and genuine in person as she was on the phone. She greeted me with such positivity and hugs and true kindness and made me feel supported in whatever decision I might decide to make after I consulted with Dr. Cooper. When I finally met Dr. Cooper, I could see that his staff personifies who he is as a person and professional as well. Dr. Cooper is warm and down to earth, yet exudes humble confidence. We dialogued in a way that fostered trust and truth, with the goal being a beautiful but realistic outcome. He listened to what my ideas and hopes were and was strong enough and confident enough to offer valuable insight as to what he felt would be the best and the safest alternatives to my suggestions and took the time to explain why these were better and safer alternatives for me. Instead of 1 surgery, he suggested 2 surgeries. He recommended a breast reduction and breast lift and though in my mind the only way that I could visualize my large sagging breasts being back in their right location with firmness and shape, was to have a reduction but also implants, Dr. Copper was confident that he could skillfully lift and reduce my breasts and give me an outcome that I would love, without the implant. Because of the energy of everyone in the practice and the nature and tone of the consult, I knew that this was the right Surgeon and the right practice for me, and was able to comfortably make a final decision to have the surgery and set 2 surgical dates for 2017, that same day. My first surgery in early 2017 was my Breast Reduction/Breast Lift, Liposuction to my back and an added Brazilian Butt Lift. I would have a 4-week recovery period before going back for my final surgery for a Fleur-Di-Lis Abdominoplasty. The procedures were done, I was monitored for an appropriate time post-operatively, and was sent home to recover the same day. My surgeries involved no hospitalization. Not only did I received calls from the RN in the practice to check on my recovery, but even on a Saturday I was called by Dr. Cooper just to check in on how I was recovering and to see if I had any questions or concerns for him personally. Between my surgery and my first follow-up appointment, I received calls checking in on my recovery from Jennifer and Mrs. Cooper as well. I never placed a phone call to the office without receiving immediate attention and responses. I had realistic expectations for and was prepared for the pain and swelling that I would experience and knew and did all the necessary things that were explained in detail pre-operatively, that I needed to do personally to help prevent post-operative complications. As a result, I had no post-surgical complication at all, was up walking and moving about well on post-op day 1, and by day post-op day 9, I was feeling like myself again and was up and about doing well after both surgeries. I received more support and care from the Doctor and staff than I could have ever hoped for. MOST IMPORTANTLY though, the outcome from all procedures was exactly what I wanted and expected. The skill and excellence of the work that was performed by the capable hands of Dr. Jason Cooper was of the highest caliber and quality. Going in I knew within myself that the looseness and poor integrity of my skin would prove to be a challenge to any surgeon, but Dr. Cooper provided me with an awesome outcome in all areas. I have watched the work of many surgeons personally, including cosmetic surgeons over many years, but I hold Dr. Jason Cooper as a preeminent Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgeon and would HIGHLY recommend him and his practice to anyone looking for excellence and the highest quality of care and skill available here in Palm Beach County. Highly Satisfied Client, EO
Dr. Cooper is patient, caring, trustworthy, and professional - as is mirrored in his staff. They went above and beyond my expectations each step of the way. The results of my mommy makeover were amazing, and it has changed the way I look and feel about my body. There is consistent & compassionate communication and follow up from his entire staff. I would certainly go to Dr. Cooper if you are considering any type of plastic surgery. I traveled from Chicago to Florida to have Dr. Cooper perform this surgery- that alone should speak volumes about his A+ skills as a plastic surgeon.
Amazing experience! Very natural look (exactly what I wanted), great recovery, beautiful office, and I love their staff :) Dr. Cooper is very professional and very thorough. I traveled from Philadelphia to come see Dr. Cooper in Jupiter and went home a week later. He has done a great job with checking up on me since I could not come to see him for my post op appointments.
Generally speaking it take 6 months to 1 year for sensation to significantly improve. The return of sensation will be different depending upon the surgical technique and what was specifically done in your operation. The areas of the mid-face and base of the neck will return first and the last areas to return are usually directly in front and behind your ears. The sensory nerves of the skin are divided during a face lift. Every person's nerve density prior to surgery is slightly different and a given surgeon's technique is also different.
It is not common for cautery to cause dents after a face lift. Contour deformities after face lifting in the cheek can result from many aspects of the surgery. The dents may be normal result from facial swelling in the first 4-6 weeks after surgery. At months months post operation the cause of large indentations may be caused by tight skin relative to the underlying facial volume. The facial tissue maybe lifted in such a way that an indentation has formed where is was not present prior to surgery. It could also be that more skin needs to be released. Its best to return to your surgeon and review prior photographs from before surgery as well during your healing process.
You will need to ask each plastic surgeon you consult with this question. Not every surgeon performs the same face lift or lower face lift. You may be surprised to learn how may different technical approaches each surgeon offers to treat your face. Typically, most of my patients experience maximal bruising and swelling 2-3 days after a face lift. The majority of sutures in my patients are removed between 6-8 days. Most of my patients at able to go out to dinner and resume social activities with make-up within 2 weeks. My patients can shower immediately after surgery. They can dye their hair by 2 weeks. Each plastic surgeons' recommendations and experiences may vary.
Typically a short scar face lift is a term used to describe an anterior face lift incision only. The incision is used just in front of the ear and may extend behind the sideburn. There is no incision in the hairline and only a small incision behind the ear. Generally a short scar face lift is limited to patients with minimal soft tissue descent, good skin quality (elasticity), good dermal thickness, and minimal skin excess. In particular, these patients should have very little excess skin below the jaw line. Patient selection for this incision is limited. Please discuss your candidacy with a skilled board certified plastic surgeon.
There is no "age limit" to undergo a tummy tuck or breast lift. I recommend you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to better understand your individual candidacy in order to undergo one or both procedures. Its important to keep in mind that your chronological age should factor into candidacy for combined surgery. In my opinion a patient's medical and surgical history are also important to determining if they are a good candidate for combined surgery. Your physical exam (breast and body), body mass index and planned length of surgical time as well as the technical aspects of the procedure are important. Age alone is simply not the greatest determining factor and should not disqualify you from a tummy tuck or breast lift.
