I have a smaller calf due to surgeries for a club foot. I would like to know if the NHS would pay for the surgery?

I was born with a club foot and had multiple corrections done and because of this my calf muscle on the one leg is smaller it bothers me so much as it is very obvious and people notice it all the time.

Thanks for your question! It is difficult to know the correct plan without examining you myself and understanding the extent to your nerve damage. For many patients, calf implants are a great way to instantly increase lower leg volume. Make sure you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon.

Definitely under the fascia.  However, some people say "under the muscle" when they actually mean "under the fascia of the muscle".  There is almost no benefit from putting them under the actual muscle, which causes too much trauma and complications.
