These hairs seem to be right where the recession is so I was wondering if there my hairline hairs that are just thinning and wether they can be saved or not?

While the pictures are great an in person examination is needed. It will be best to seek out a physician who specializes in hair restoration and hair loss. Finasteride typically helps the middle to crown area so be sure to discuss treatment plans for the frontal hairline.

The best way to tell whether or not you have miniaturized hairs is to have a board certified dermatologist examine your scalp with a dermatoscope. You can then discuss a treatment plan that is appropriate for your situation which may include the use of finasteride or minoxadil, or other procedures such as PRP injections and microneedling.
