What can I do when I’m getting my mole removed to calm me down?

I’m getting my mole removed and it’s on the back of my neck and I’m very conscious when people touch it but I want it off because I’m worried it might turn cancerous and it gets caught on my shirts at school. Is there anything I can do when it’s getting removed that will help with my anxiety and calm me down?
