Answer: You've been Fooled Like so many others, device manufacturers (and the surgeons that buy them) want you to think that it's the machine that matters. It is not. It's the surgeon's training, skill, and most of all experience.

Answer: Liposuction vs Airsculpt Based on your one photo, you may be an ideal candidate for liposuction. In my 25 years of liposuction experience, I have found that the skill and aesthetic eye of the surgeon and the quality of the patient's skin is much more important than the type of liposuction performed. I've seen multiple new liposuction technologies come out claiming that their machine and/or technique is superior to anything else on the market, but none have ever been proven to be better or worse the others in getting an outstanding results. Yes, they all do it a little differently, but in controlled clinical studies that are not funded by the company making the machines, none has shown a difference in healing, bruising, skin tightening or postoperative pain. Airsculpt is another one of the newest fads in liposuction technology with heavy advertising and clinics popping up in cities all over the country. I don't know of any studies comparing it to other technologies to prove that it is any better or worse. As I originally stated, patient selection (making sure that you are a good candidate for liposuction) and experience and expertise of your surgeon are much more important factors that you should consider when deciding on having liposuction.
