Thank you for your question.  It is most important for you to follow up with either your plastic surgeon or a colleague if you are traveling out of state to have your surgery.  The PCP won't be able to help you especially if you develop a problem.

Hi. As a plastic surgeon I keep a close follow up of my patients after a Lipo + BBL procedure. I required at least 3 follow up visits after surgery : 1rst. 48 hours after surgery, 2nd. 7 days after surgery and the last and  3rd. 14 days after the procedure.International Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS)
