Will scar revision on the areola to repair the bottom center opening damage my breast lift connection? (Photo)

based on your photo, it looks like you would benefit from scar revision. For scars, I close all of my incisions in 5 layers and do not use absorbable sutures because they cause inflammation and worse scarring. I tape all of my incisions in the office visits once a week for six weeks after surgery to improve the appearance. After taping, I start my patients on a scar gel therapy for 3 months that they have to put on their incisions twice daily.You should discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon as different surgeons have different approaches in scar management.

Plastic surgery scars require attention after surgery so that they remain cosmetically-appealing and barely noticeable. All of these have their individual benefits. Most of all, we recommend you visit a solid plastic surgeon who understands surgical scar revision, laser therapy, and RF therapy for scars.

Thank you for your questions. I think that based on your photo, you have a reasonable outcome from what you are describing. Do not chase perfect and end up causing a worse problem. I think a tattoo option might be better for correcting pigment issues and shape/contour than a surgical revision.

Hello DMU. You may be better served with a permanent makeup solution than another surgery. Find a permanent makeup artists that does scar repair well. We've had many patients happy with the results of recoloring with this method.

With the 1 posted photo I think a scar revision of the spread scar inferiorly to areolar can be preformed without any effect on the general appearances of your breasts lift surgery. Best to seek in person consults with... fees in the $5,000 ranges.
