What are the best methods to get rid of liposuction scar? (Photos)

Plastic surgery scars require attention after surgery so that they remain cosmetically-appealing and barely noticeable. In our office, we use a protocol for scars that minimizes their activity in the 6-8 weeks after surgery. Thank-you for your question! Based on your photographs and history, you seem to doing everything right to improve the scarring. The scars appear to be slightly depressed with no redness, or hypertrophy. The slight pigmentation should improve by itself. If you are looking for further improvement fractionated lasers can help. Hello Orangeoc. For your scar, revising the texture so it's smoother would likely work out best with either a surgical revision or fractional laser resurfacing. If the scar is not very wide, fractional may work great, whereas if it has some width to it, a small surgical revision may work better.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from scar revision. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.
