Occassionally normal moles do change. It is best be evaluated in person by dermoscopy and if necessary a biopsy. Delaying seeing a dermatologist is delaying resolving the issue.

Assessing your lesion via photograph is difficult, and I cannot tell you what that spot could be without a face-to-face evaluation. I highly recommend you consult with a dermatologist to evaluate your lesion under higher magnification with an instrument called a dermatoscope. If there are any irregularities with the lesion, then a biopsy should be done for the lesion to be evaluated by a pathologist on a cellular level. I always recommend to have changing or new lesions to be evaluated and checked for any abnormalities. Take care and good luck.
