Major redness/irritation/uneven skin tone post Vi peel 7 days ago. Will my skin improve? (photos)

Question

I had Vi precision peel done 7 days ago, the skin has all fallen off with some areas peeling twice. However my skin is veryyyy red and pink, and the skin tone is not even there are darker pieces of pink skin that don't look fully healed even tho I haven't picked at the skin. I am still using hydrocortisone and aquaphor to help sooth the skin but it's made no difference! What can I expect to happen next, will my skin improve?

Without proper examination, it appears as if you are healing satisfactorily.  Every patient reacts and heals differently with the VI Peel.  During this healing phase avoid any abrasive cleansing or harsh chemicals until healing has resolved.  It is also important to avoid UV exposure to the healing skin, always wear sunblock.  If you are concerned about your healing process I would recommend contacting the person who applied the peel.
