Big Lip Lift scar - what can be done to fix this? (photos)

In your pictures it appears that the scar is hypo pigmented with lost skin markings. The hypo pigmentation is most prominent. The Eximer laser should assist in repigmenting the area. Multiple sessions will be necessary. It is not possible to re-establish the the skin markings as this is part of the scaring process, however with pigmentation it should be much less noticeable. Plastic surgery scars require attention after surgery so that they remain cosmetically-appealing and barely noticeable. In our office, we use a protocol for scars that minimizes their activity in the 6-8 weeks after surgery.
