I am only 20 years old & I have facial hair which is my biggest problem.I really want to get rid of them but I am concerned if it will make my face look mature and I'll look older. I am fair so wanted to know if it's safe for my skintone and will not darken it with scars etc. Is it safe for whole face? PLEASE HELP!!!! :)
Answer: Laser Hair Removal for the Whole Face Laser hair removal can be safe and effective for the whole face, but is not recommend for eyebrows. The correct laser in the hands of an experienced provider will target the pigment in your hair, not your skin. Lasers come in different wavelengths (755nm and 1064nm are the most popular) so it's important to go to a provider that has the correct laser and wavelength for your skin type. Lighter skin= 755nm, Darker skin= 1064nm We're not aware of any evidence that these lasers cause aging of the skin. Consult with a clinic that is doctor supervised and offers a free consultation so that you can get a "feel" for the staff and ask lots of questions. I always recommend getting a few opinions and price quotes before making a decision. Best of luck to you, Doc Halliday
