I'm 44 and developed some light jowling and neck laxity. I look so much better after getting PRF injections in the cheeks and smile lines but then the swelling goes down. After consulting for a deep plane facelift and neck lift, I decided I am not ready for this option. What filler will be the most natural looking and not impact a future lift (no sculptra)? I'm leaning towards fat grafting but it's also surgery so restylane may be better. I may get surgery in the next 3 yrs.
Answer: A combination of Ultherapy and collagen building fillers such as radiesse can help provide a lift and youthful look. Ultherapy is a non-invasive procedure that lifts the neck, chin and brow, and improves lines and wrinkles on the upper chest. As we age, collagen breaks down, resulting in loss of skin strength and elasticity. For tissue tightening, Ultherapy is ideal for the lower face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Morpheus8 to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Fillers for non surgical face lift Thank you for your query. Hyaluronic acid fillers (Restylane or Juviderm) are a good option. I also often do a non surgical facial rejuvenation using a combination of your own fat with PRP and antioxidants . This latter can be done under sedation and is long lasting. Please find an experienced Board certified Plastic surgeon who can examine you and help you with all your concerns. All the best!

Answer: Thermage FLX Content Hello; 44 years old is too early for facelifting operation. I recommend for leaving this option for later period. Because, an operation is only good once. You can't have surgery every time your face sags. Since adhesions will form in the underlying tissue, second operations are always become risky and involve the possibility of many complications. Due to this reason, I give an advise for you to choose the most suitable non-surgical face lift treatment for 44 years old. Actually, I find Thermage FLX very effective in this point. My patients are extremely satisfied. The results are extremely satisfactory as well. Thermage FLX is a high technology product and FDA approved for chin contour removal. It is applied in a single session. The result remains for many years. Since it increases natural collagen, there is no bombshell. No pain,no injection as well. It does not disrupt daily life. Its affect appears gradually. The final affect is fully visible after six months. Since it improves tissue quality, it has an affect far beyond the face lifting operation. If you have extra depressions on your face, I recommend for Radiesse. This calcium Hydroxyapatite molecule not only raises the lifting effect, but also stimulates collagen synthesis, supporting a face lift treatment that lasts for many years. I'm sure you will be very pleased with this combination.

Answer: Considering options HA fillers sound like the right choice to help you bridge the gap until you are ready for a facelift. These will last 1-2 years depending on the filler selected. You can also consider FaceTite. This is a minimally invasive procedure that does not require general anesthesia. It uses RF technology to tighten the skin. You can learn more by visiting my website or a provider near you.
