In some resiliant cases, there may be a shift to an old position even several years after corrective surgery. In that case, nex procedure to correct recurrent deformity may be needed. That should be discussed with your surgeon. Good luck.

Good Afternoon! Thanks for your questions. If your nose had a leftward-lean to begin with, the forces can be quite strong long-term. Many times, the skin (and cartilage) have memory that wants to pull back toward the prior side. There are techniques we can utilize to overcome these forces. Strong and accurate suturing, robust cartilage grafts such as those made of rib, and taping exercises are all effective. Although a guarantee of perfect symmetry is not possible, dramatic improvements can be made. Hope this helps!
