I had the Rhinoplasty in November 2021. It’s finally starting to look less swollen but I noticed a couple months after the surgery that a bump has formed. It’s very noticeable in some lighting - my question is what is it? How can I fix it? My surgeon looked at it 9 months Post op and he said it should go away and if it doesn’t then I’d need surgery to potentially remove it? I’m looking for a second opinion. Thank you

Hi @jh1022. I am sorry you are not happy with your rhinoplasty results. I recommend seeing an expert revision rhinoplasty specialist for an in person examination. There are several options for you that can be determined after examination. Best of luck, Dr. Nima.
The lower third of your nose appears swollen, and your nose will look better when your swelling is resolved. If you want to "add more" volume to your nose when your swelling resolves, microdroplet Silikon-1000 injections may be considered, depending on your examination. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph
In general, filler is injected into the soft tissue layer of the nose, and it’s not typically seen or removed during rhinoplasty in our experience. The feasibility of surgery I’m your situation would require an examination. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph
