A nonsurgical rhinoplasty involves placing fillers in the nose to make the nose taller, bigger, and wider, on a temporary basis. Injections in the nose are not FDA approved and do have complications associated with them. When patients are trying to lift the tip of the nose permanently, the lower lateral cartilages of the nasal tip must be adjusted to be in able to lift the tip with a surgical rhinoplasty procedure. Releasing of the depressor septi ligament is also required in order to prevent the tip from drooping when smiling.
