While it is is hard to see since there is makeup on, you would benefit from exfoliation. Whether it is a hydrafacial , chemical peel , laser peel and routine retinol or prescription topicals. Please see your nearest skin and laser center with a physician who actively uses laser to best advise.
Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started. Hello SSS201 my name is Melanie I am a Medical Aesthetician at Aesthetic Skin. First off that you very much for sharing your images. From the image it looks as if you have some congestion under the surface of the skin. These little guys can be stubborn. Incorporating a Hydrafacial monthly will eliminate this small build up in the skin. Please feel free to give our office a call for a possible virtual consultation I would love to discuss the treatment actions that you have tried and also your current home care regimen. Please feel free to contact our office should you like to move forward with a virtual skin consultation and treatments. You can reach our office at 312-944-0117
For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
It is difficult to say from the photos alone, but the numerous bumps are likely to be milia--basically clogged pores--and the condition known as milial acne. Since, in this condition, the "exit ramps" to the pores are clogged, the pores becomes stuffed, typically appear as whitish bumps on the skin, and are typically difficult to get rid of. In-office, by making a tiny opening (that reseals without a mark) the dermatologist can open the milia allowing the contents to be easily removed and resulting in complete clearing. For prevention of new ones, the combined use of an in-office superficial peel, such as high concentration glycolic acid (which helps break up the plug) and at-home use of prescription topicals containing salicylic acid and/or retinoids can be prescribed. You would be wise to consult with an experienced, board certified dermatologist. Best of luck. .
Hi @SSS201. Thank you for sharing your photos. I recommend quality daily skincare and Morpheus 8 or regular microneedling with PRP.Best of luck,Dr. Nima
Some of those bumps look like old hormonal acne scarring. The best thing to do would be to use a .5% salycilic cleanser like Paulas choice pore normalizing cleanser. Just use that twice a day. Some mild topical cleocin wipes twice a day with no real sun sensitivity. Then, after your face is clear. And you keep up the regimen, a morpheus treatment at the end will seal the changes.
It's difficult to tell from the photos what appropriate treatment would be needed. I encourage you to visit with a dermatologist for diagnosis. An experienced aesthetician at a med spa can also assist you with keeping your skin healthy looking.
Its hard to tell from the photo if that is Sebaceous Hyperplasia. You need to see your Dermatologist for a proper diagnosis and treatment. Perhaps light cautery. Best of luck!
