Can I sit after getting liposuction in back of my thighs right below buttocks?

The first few days after liposuction are the most painful, after that it is more like soreness than pain and will gradually get better every day.  Sitting in a car for any length of time will be uncomfortable, but will not affect the results of the surgery.  Good luck!

Fat transfer shouldn't be painful but it sounds like you need more of a cellfina procedure than liposuction with fat transfer. I suggest you see an expert.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Depending on the experience level of your surgeon and type of liposuction your results will vary. Some individuals experience minor bruising and swelling while others are more prone. With tumescent liposuction using local anesthesia for the back thighs, typically patients do experience some discomfort, mild swelling, and tenderness. For improved healing and patient comfort, we use special absorbent pads and compression garments for our open drainage technique. The soreness can be compared to a day of bootcamp.
