I got sculpsure for my lower abdomen and its been over 12 weeks and no results. Can I get a refund?

I got sculpsure done on my lower abdomen and its been over 12 weeks and no results. The nurse who performed the procedure said that all the patients have been happy with their results and felt a lot of pain during the procedurehowever I felt NO PAIN. She said that since the amount of fat I had was very minimal, one session might even be enough. I am super pissed I paid this much money for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING when they promised me results. Is there any way I can get a refund since they lied?

Keep in mind, with Sculpsure, a combination of treatments is needed to get good results. I recommend combining Sculpsure with Vanquish and Venus Legacy/Exilis Ultra treatments. We currently use a fire and ice treatment with Coolsculpting and Vanquish for good results in fat removal. However, a VASER hi definition procedure would give you the best results with fat removal, contouring and definition. I have been using SculpSure for a year now and find the results to be quite variable with many patients having minimal or no benefit from expensive treatments. Cynosure, the makers of SculpSure, charge $150 to $200 for every treatment that I run. This discourages me from retreating unhappy patients and of course they are discouraged because they don’t want to pay for something that didn’t work. Perhaps filing a complaint with the FDA would help bring more transparency to these issues.

Hi - I'm sorry to hear you aren't pleased with your results. Patients may start to see results as early as 6 weeks following treatment as the body begins to evacuate the destroyed fat cells, with optimal results usually seen at 12 weeks. It's possible that you will need a second or third treatment to see maximum results. I recommend speaking with your provider about doing more treatments to make sure you are happy with your results. Thank you!

I am sorry that your results were not what you expected.  I find that most of my patients need 2 sessions in an area and 1 session is not enough to see a dramatic result.  The minimum is usually 2 sessions.  I would encourage you to see your provider and discuss your concerns.  
It is not customary to give refunds as results can vary depending on the person and how the body responds to the treatment.  Some offices may work with you to see if the results can be improved.  Good luck.

I am sorry that you have not been pleased with your SculpSure experience.  Did you have followup photos done - this often will help especially if only a small amount of sculpting is needed.  While you should discuss this with your SculpSure provider it is customary that treatments are not refundable.
