My doctor said that i probably wont even need fillers on my cheeks and under eyes after pregnancy because there is a change in facial fat during/after pregnancy, How true is this? I have hollowness beneath my eyes and upper cheeks.
Answer: How does facial fat/volume change during/after pregnancy? Pregnancy causes a distributed weight gain throughout its process. You will have more volume even on your face. You may then lose the added volume during pregnancy once you've labored. It would be advisable to have your pregnancy first before considering a surgical option to be sure you will have a safe pregnancy and also to ensure you are stable enough prior to the procedure.

Answer: Fillers and facial volume There is no way to accurately predict how your face will change during and after pregnancy. Your facial appearance is a combination of aging, weight, and your environment/lifestyle. If you lose weight after the pregnancy, it is likely that you will also lose some facial fat which can accentuate any hollowness you already see. Fillers, fat grafting, or surgery are all options which can be used to resolve the hollowness. Hope this helps!Johnson C. Lee, MDBoard-Certified Plastic Surgeon@drjohnsonlee
