Can anyone tell me how much $ it would be to smooth out the lumpy lipo area in my tummy & butt? Are my results normal? I would expect more since I was charged $25,000.00 for this procedure. Any advice on the best way to fix?
Answer: Revision BBL So sorry to hear this. Choosing a qualified surgeon first time around would be ideal. The best results are achieved in the first time surgery as tissues are healthy and results more predictable. The surgeon not dealing with scar tissue, irregularities , and inflammation. If possible, best would be to return to original surgeon as he would know your body better and what he/she did. That would be more advantageous as he/she has seen the changes through the follow up and post-op visits. Generally, it is more financially benefial to you as well. Revisions are much more complicated than original surgery. You need to consult with an experienced surgeon. The results are less predictable due to scarring. The skin won't have the same pliability as the original surgery. Need to have comprehensive discussion regarding the options and limitations so you have a realistic expectation and dont be disappointed again. The results will be much less predictable as it will be more directed toward "fixing" and "revising" rather than providing the result the surgeon would want as if he/she would be the first surgeon. Having said that, revisions do happen in plastic surgery, as healing process is different in individuals and results are never guaranteed. The second surgeon would need to be ready as you may have already been through a lot of emotions and would may already have a negative view regarding surgery and the outcomes. For these reasons (and other reasons), giving the original surgeon (generally speaking) another chance would be advantageous. Although, I understand would be a difficult decision. Make sure you have a thorough consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who has extensive experience in this procedure. Check her/his experience, credentials, reviews, before and after photos, and have a quality consultation. There are many surgeons including myself who do virtual consultations as well. It is preferred for your surgeon to be member of "American Society of Plastic Surgeons" and ideally member of "American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery". This means they have been evaluated by the society and recognized that the focus of their practice is high volume and quality, honest aesthetic plastic surgery and they adhere to a code of ethics. All my best,

Answer: How much would it cost ? Cost factors vary significantly for a number of good reasons: Prices vary greatly because the surgery itself encompasses a wide range of techniques that can be performed to different extents. My recommendation is to first find the most qualified surgeons where you want the surgery performed that are board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery you trust, then compare prices between them. See the below link on suggestions on how to find the most qualified plastic surgeon for your procedure. General Factors that influence the price of plastic surgery include: 1. Location - Will it be performed in a hospital with an overnight stay, an independent out- patient facility or a doctor’s office? Geographical location also has a significant influence. RealSelf has average charges for most areas of the USA. 2. Type of Anesthesia - local, IV sedation or General Anesthesia? Will a board certified anesthesiologist, nurse anesthetist, or an RN be used? 3. Experience and training of your surgeon. The best and longest trained is most often a plastic surgeon board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery 4. Length and Complexity of Surgery - how difficult will your surgery be and how long it will take, etc. Will other complementary procedures also be also performed during the same surgery?

Answer: Repair botched BBL The main thing is that enough time has passed before a second liposuction is done. Secondary cases are not very difficult for experienced surgeons, but there is less fat available to take and the margin for problems in the liposuctioned areas is smaller. It's difficult to comment on cost because the procedure takes about as long as a primary procedure. It is unfortunate that you did not get the result you wanted, especially given how much you paid for it. Sometimes these charges are high due to a high-overhead geography.

Answer: How much would it cost to repair my botched BBL? Thank you for your question and photos. Even from these limited views, it is evident that you have a poor outcome. Not only that your body wasn't sculpted based on your muscular anatomy, the fat was placed in the wrong places. This left you with a square buttock, very similar to your preop, except fat was placed superior to the true anatomic buttock giving you a "V" shape.Correction of suboptimal surgery can be more expensive than a surgery done well first time. You now have internal scarring that makes the next surgeon's work more difficult. It can be done, but you need to choose a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques to get an hourglass shape with a round and projecting buttock. Good luck.
