Can a round two BBL fill out my hip dips? (photo)

Ideal candidates are at a stable weight,  in good health , and have excess fat in some parts of the body and too little in other regions.  Gaining weight before the procedure is to no advantage and when you lose weight again the fat cells will shrink just like the donor site fat cells.  Typically, the transferred fat results in a significant increase in volume of the body site being treated.

The volume and projection can likely be improved, but it will depend upon how the first BBL was performed and how much fat is left to transfer. Have you discussed your disappointment with the results of the BBL with your plastic surgeon so that he/she could offer revision options?  Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA

It depends on who did your first surgery/ what they did. Did your hips look smooth immediately post op then the dips came back or were they never fully filled in. Also, you need to have fat to harvest for the 2nd surgery. 

They can be rounded more if you have adequate fat donor sites.  Best to be seen in person for this to be properly assessed.

Best would be to discuss this with original surgeon to review options.  Would wait a year for any revisions or re-operations.  The original surgeon would be best to consult regarding the available fat and reasonable expectations.Make sure you have a thorough consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who has extensive experience in this procedure. Check her/his experience, credentials, reviews, before and after photos, and have a quality consultation.  
It is preferred for your surgeon to be member of "American Society of Plastic Surgeons" and ideally member of "American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery". This means they have been evaluated by the society and recognized that the focus of their practice is high volume and quality, honest aesthetic plastic surgery and they adhere to a code of ethics.
