Can you add volume to the jaw? (Photo)

Question

I have noticed my lower face has become scrawny looking, which is giving me an aged appearance. I have attached picture a of what I looked liked 10 years ago and how I look today. I have lost volume in my upper face as well. What will work best for upper and lower face?

With ageing comes volume loss. Dermal fillers is a safe option without the surgical risk, but it is temporary and needs repeating. Implants is an option but you will need to discuss the risk and surgery with an experienced facial surgeon.

It is quite 'normal' to lose facial volume with the aging process; both in soft tissue and also in the bone contours (more slowly). Soft tissue 'fillers' will aid the 'fullness' of the middle face; but jawline implants against the bone are more suited for the lower face contour changes. Many approaches will work for you.
