I had a very bad outcome with a Sculptra procedure almost three years ago. I requested my medical records. He could not locate the treatment record or the lot numer for the two vials. Is this typical of doctors to not have this information available to their patients? I know this question is a bit atypical, but I am at a loss to how to resolve my issues without his cooperation. It leads me to suspect that he is hiding something.
Answer: Sculptra lot numbers in medical records Personally, I do record the Sculptra lot numbers that are used when I treat a patient with Sculptra and keep this in the medical record. Not all physicians may follow this same procedure but it does not necessarily mean that you had a bad treatment if the information was not recorded.

Answer: Sculptra information I am sorry to hear that you had a bad outcome with Sculptra 3 years ago. I have been injecting Sculptra for approximately 10 years and have seen a number of patients seeking a second opinion about their injections. It is my experience that the relative quality of the records maintained varies rather widely. I would not assume that your doctor is hiding something nor am I certain why, 3 years later, obtaining these records should be critical to helping you resolve whatever issues persist. Best of luck.

Answer: Sculptra Lot Number Sorry about your problem and it is true that there is not a sticker on the bottle like we have with other fillers, but there is a lot number with every vial of Sculptra and most physicians would note the lot number on their medical records. Not having your records or unable to locate them is pretty unusual so I would pursue this more – ask again and don’t give up. We are seeing more and more fake products being used around the US and this would definitely be a red flag for me if they are not giving you what you are asking for. So, consult with a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon when you want to have injectables done and make sure that you actually see the vial or syringe that is being used so that you have confidence that what you are supposedly getting is what you are supposed to get.

Answer: Lot numbers should be recorded for Sculptra Every vial has a lot number for Sculptra. All records should be available from 3 years ago. This should be given to you after signing a medical release. Maybe you didn't get Sculptra or it wasn't from a legit source.

Answer: Sculptra lot number. Is it typical of doctors to not have this information available to their patients? Some injectable products come with the lot number on a sticker to place in the patient's chart. Scultpra does NOT do this so lot numbers may not always be recorded. However, there should be some sort of treatment record.
