MRT - do I still have gynecomastia?

A gynecomastia assessment is pretty easy and straightforward. I never rely on radiographic imaging for this assessment. It’s not necessary.
I suggest you take one arm at a time and stretch it behind your head like you’re scratching your upper back. With your arm up over your head, and your pectoralis muscle and skin under tension , you can clearly see the definition of any remaining excess breast tissue.
Making quality male chest assessment requires differentiating between subcutaneous, fat, breast, tissue and skin laxity. All three of these can contribute to fullness of the chest and it’s important to understand the difference because it dictates somebody’s candidacy and the type of outcome they can expect from surgery.
Cases of true gynecomastia, with excess breast tissue almost always require open excision removing sufficient amounts of breast tissue for the area to have a normal contour. Even slight skin laxity from age or weight loss can hamper results substantially.
Making a quality assessment regarding the Male chest and gynecomastia is fairly straightforward though it does require some experience to get this consistent being able to deliver predictable outcomes.
I’m not a radiologist and have never used radiographic imaging to help me make assessments.
